Corruption should be overcome roots
Corruption
is a serious obstacle to development, and the main contributory to the
development of society, the immediate threat to the growth of the industry.
Therefore, from the first years of independence in our country, the blood of
old systems in the last century should be finished and strengthened the legal
basis the struggle against the effects of the disease.
As a
logical continuation of this work, on November 24, 2016, the Legislative
Chamber of the Oliy Majlis (High Meeting) of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted
the law 'On Combating Corruption' immediately by the interim president at that
time Shavkat Mirziyoyev's initiative. And this law was approved by the Senate
on 13th December 2016.
On January
3, 2017, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirzoyoyev signed the law “On
Combating Corruption” and the law came into effect on January 4, 2017. The law
provides the main directions of state policy in the field of anti-corruption.
Now, the strict penalties of the state are adopted for those who have committed
such abuses legally-legitimate rights of legal entities, forbidding the
fulfillment of their obligations under the law, bribery, abuse of office,
familiarity with the work of state-run organizations on the basis of kinship,
preventing the growth of talented cadres.
