The mausoleum of Imam Termizi

Near the district center of Sherabad is the mausoleum - mosque of Imam Termezi, the man who has earned the recognition of what they preached Islam among Muslims.

It is a monument of the XI-XII century. Since ancient times this place was a Holy place of pilgrimage for

Muslims. Compiler-the compiler of the book of hadith was Abu Iso Muhammad al-Termizi. Imam Termizi was born in 824 in bug village, located 60 km North of Termez. From a young age he began to study the writings of the scholars of the Muslim world. Educated in Termez 850 began to travel to different

countries and cities of the Islamic world, where he spoke with famous people of his time.
